Visual Journaling for Teens

Class Description

Tuesdays evenings, 5-6:30pm 6-weeks, from April 22nd-May 27th Calling all artsy teens who are habitual doodlers! Learn about the art of visual journaling for artistic inspiration. Artists keep sketchbooks to explore images and ideas and to realize their inner visions and visual observations. We will alter sketchbook pages using different watercolor techniques first, and then we'll create amazing layered images using printmaking, tape transfer, paint, ink, text, and water-soluble pencils. Through a few fun and surprising techniques, you'll acquire artistic habits that will continually inspire you throughout your journey as an artist. This class is for new and experienced artists alike.
