About the event

Join us for this Community Roundtable Project Discussion led by Christine Rai to celebrate the work of all CRP #3 participants. Artists and writers, having explored a deeper understanding of Indigenous Peoples of the Potomac Piedmont, will share their experiences with the community and present a final artwork or creative writing piece inspired by the history and culture of the Ag Reserve’s original inhabitants.  Free and open to the public.

This is a free event and you are welcome to register with $0 payment.  You may, however, make an optional donation of any amount. (The suggested donation for this event is $20 each.)

The Indigenous Peoples of the Potomac Piedmont Community Round Table project has been financed in part with funds from Heritage Montgomery and Montgomery County Government, and in part with State Funds from the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority, an instrumentality of the State of Maryland.  However, the contents and opinions do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority.

The CRP, offered three times a year, is designed to bring artists and the community together in sharing and conversation of important issues, topics and cultures through the medium of art.
